Def Leppard

Ontario, CA’s Citizens Business Bank Arena Holds Energetic and Loud Event!

If you live in or near the Inland Empire, you may have heard or felt the jolt of energy that hit the area on Wednesday night.  No, it wasn’t an earthquake, but it was a concert where Tesla, Poison, and Def Leppard were shaking the walls of the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA!

Thanks to our wonderful friend Mike and our cousin Therese, we were invited to attend the concert with them.  And we were very grateful to attend with them because we had a GREAT time!

The first group to come out on stage was Tesla.  And I have to admit, we are not familiar with this band at all, so we weren’t too sure what to expect.  And even though we only recognized a couple of songs, I thought their music was pretty good.

The next group to come out was Poison.  We are familiar with this band much more than Tesla, and are familiar with Bret Michaels and their famous guitar player CC Deville, and drummer Rikki Rockett.  They did not disappoint!

They brought much more energy to the arena due to the charisma of lead singer Bret Michaels.  Not only did Bret relate much more to the crowd,  he also paid tribute to our US Veterans with the song “Something to Believe In”.

And of course, they finished their set with the ever popular song “Nothin But A Good Time”.

The highlight of the evening was when Def Leppard took the stage.  Not only was their string of hit songs performed to the crowds liking, I thought the video and lighting just magnified the greatness of this band.

Out of this set, there was only one song I was not familiar with that was off their newest recording, but the rest was fantastic.

What made it fun was that the crowd, made up of mostly 50 ish aged people, just like us, knew most of the words to all of the songs and the group really responded to it!

Overall, it was a great evening, and we would not hesitate to experience their music again.

And here are a few videos that I took from the concert.
