Final Supper

There Is Wine Produced Today That Comes Close To What Was Made Back Then

As we enter into the Easter Weekend, many millions of people around the world will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus some 2000 years ago.

Part of that celebration, at least in our house, will include drinking wine.  It’s a celebration, right?

And back in those days, there was plenty of wine being produced.  In fact, wine is referenced throughout the Bible.  It is so much so, you will find it referenced over 200 times!

But if you are inquisitive like me, you might be wondering when it comes to the wine,  how good was it?

Luckily for us, our friends at Vinepair, written by Keith Beavers, wrote an article entitled “What Wine Would Jesus Drink“.

It does a pretty good job at discussing how the wine was made, how it tasted, and if there is any wine being produced in the present day, that comes close to how it may have tasted back then.

Cheers!
